This program is designed to provide gas professionals with the fundamental knowledge and skills essential for working on commercial gas installations. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical exercises, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of commercial gas systems, ensuring they are well-prepared to tackle the complexities of the commercial gas sector.

  • COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety

For candidates seeking re-assessment, it is a requirement that they have previously possessed this qualification. If the certification has expired over 12 months after the expiry date, they must undergo the initial assessment.

Without Testing and Purging (TPCP1A/TPCP1)

Changeover from Domestic to Commercial Natural Gas Re-assessment

This course package caters to operatives aiming to renew their commercial qualifications while maintaining their active domestic gas certifications. It includes essential topics like transitioning from domestic to commercial heating core gas safety, initial installation of commercial pipework and appliances, commissioning, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting three commercial appliances, as well as mastering tightness testing and direct purging of installation pipework if required.

  • CODNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Changeover.

For candidates seeking re-assessment, it is a requirement that they have previously possessed this qualification. If the certification has expired over 12 months after the expiry date, they must undergo the initial assessment.

Candidates must hold their core competency or changeover qualification and must be on the gas safe register for 12 months or more. 

Without Testing and Purging (TPCP1A/TPCP1)

  • 5 Days

With Testing and Purging (TPCP1A/TPCP1)

  • 6 Days

This course package caters to operatives aiming to extend their domestic qualifications into commercial qualifications. It includes essential topics like transitioning from domestic to commercial heating core gas safety, initial installation of commercial pipework and appliances, commissioning, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting three commercial appliances, as well as mastering tightness testing and direct purging of installation pipework if required.

  • CODNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Changeover.

This course is suitable for candidates who currently hold CCN1 and appliances and have been on the Gas Safe Register for 12 months or more.

Testing and Purging (TPCP1/TPCP1A)

We offer combined TPCP1 and TPCP1A Testing & Purging courses. These courses provide comprehensive training on the skills and knowledge needed for tightness testing and purging of installation pipework, covering volumes both exceeding and falling below 1m³.

*Core or changeover LPG certification is required for relevance.

  • TPCP1a – Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of installation Pipework.
  • TPCP1 – >1m³ in Volume

Candidates must hold their core competency or changeover qualification and must be on the gas safe register for 12 months or more.
