This ACS testing and purging package certifies engineers to carry out strength testing and purging on gas pipework in domestic and commercial systems. Includes TPCP1 (over 1m³) and TPCP1A (less than 1m³). Refresher training and assessment included.
The TPCP1 + TPCP1A Testing and Purging Package at Vulcana Training is designed for qualified gas engineers who need to undertake tightness testing and purging of gas pipework, including new installations and existing systems. These modules are essential for working on medium to large-scale commercial pipework as well as domestic systems.
This course covers both:
TPCP1A – for installations with pipework volumes up to 1m³
TPCP1 – for installations with pipework volumes exceeding 1m³
The training includes refresher content and practical application of the latest standards and documentation procedures. On successful completion, candidates are certified to test and purge gas systems safely and in compliance with IGEM/UP/1 and UP/1A.
